Callum Hamby growing into his hat!
It was really great to have Callum &
Thomas Green of our training band with us on this very cold December
Saturday afternoon. Well done lads & your help was very much
appreciated.

Chris License, Solo trombone this time playing gooseberry between Mrs & Mrs Shepherd!
(Note one of our more 'senior' players,
2nd trombone Ken Maden sitting. At his age & with his legs
....it's
best, believe us!)
Once again, many thanks to Dennis Hallett
for many of the photographs

Spring Concert 2008
It was great to have Nick Smith back for the Spring Concert, if not in the middle with the stick at the Arts Centre.
Nick helped Albert compare & as you can see on the right Nick got fully into the concert theme of 'Music Hall'. (Even if it makes hom look like the result of the union between Charlie Chaplin & Hercule Poirot!)
The bands thanks go out to Albert who once again entertained the audience with his stories & to Garry Smallwood who conducted on the evening.

The band would like to say a huge thank you to John who also narrated the bands final piece ‘Zulu’.

The Training Band, conducted by Gordon Lane played a short set that was very well received.
Check out the concentration on the faces of these youngsters. |

Bavarian Evening June 2008
June 21st saw a historic event in the Evesham Town Hall. The debut of ‘Herr Loss & the Saga Louts’ here being conducted by half of the female side of the Smith Family.
The evening was in aid of the bands USA fund and what an evening it proved to be! Great music, food, atmosphere & beer at 2 quid a pint helped! Everyone had a great night with congratulations and thanks going to the organizers.
There are rumours that Herr Loss & his Saga Louts may be making another appearance at some point…….. if so, tickets will be in demand!

Jen Pritchard got into the spirit of the evening , shows off her costume before the evening got into full swing. |
Bavarian Evening June 2008
No, it’s not the Gnomes of Zurich playing the communal bagpipes; it’s Herr Loss & 3 Saga Louts making VERY short work of a Stein of Lager!
In the competition to empty the Stein of Lager against the stopwatch, the Saga Louts were ran very close by Andy McClure & his mob, but the short priced favourites won through in the end! |

Bavarian Evening June 2008
This isn't a shot from the McClure's private album, it was another competition on the evening for couples to untangle them selves........
Some pairs looked like they enjoyed this game just a little too much!? |
Bavarian Evening June 2008
Herr Loss and the Saga Louts take a bow & a well earned rest at the end of a great nights music making.( I would say a well-earned drink but I think they were about full?)
Buy the way lads…..................... You did play the can-can and yes the girls did dance!
(Great Job)
