Friends of Avonbank Brass Band

Behind almost every organisation there will be a group of willing volunteers working away to ensure the organisation will run smoothly.

For Avonbank Brass Band we have a FABBulous organisation called FABB (Friends of Avonbank Brass Band). These unsung heroes & heroines work tirelessly to organise events and raise money for the band.

At every concert they are there, selling tickets, manning the door, selling raffle tickets and helping in every way possible. They hold a stall at the Christmas Fayre in Evesham to raise money. But the biggest function FABB perform is to run the 100 Club for the band.

100 Club

The 100 Club was created to raise money to help with payment of some of the band's heavy expenses, including the bandroom maintenance and running costs. Members, for a payment of just £1 per week, are given a number (their preferred number if it is available) that is entered in a monthly draw with prizes of £50, £20, and £10, plus a quarterly bonus prize of £150.
There are still several numbers available and you could help to support the band significantly by joining this scheme. How about forming a syndicate with friends?
For a while we are continuing our offer of free gifts to new members who elect to pay by standing order and if they are introduced by existing members they too will receive free gifts as will existing members who complete the standing order form.

In recent times this cash had enabled the band to redecorate the band room, purchase some new uniforms whilst cleaning the existing stock.

FABB also publish a news paper for the band called 'The Fabb Mag' that informs every one of the bands activities, results and future concerts.

The band members really cannot thank this group of people enough for their work.
Avonbank is a great band to play in, but the work of FABB makes everything so much easier.
